5 Reasons Why New Year’s Weight Loss Resolutions Fail and How to Fix Them
There are too many weight loss fads, quick fixes, scams, and detox gimmicks out there. No magic pill or detox diet will allow you to skip the basics. Whenever I talk about goals with patients, I try to give them a framework that will help them be as successful as possible. It is made from milk only, so the ingredients are simple and real. That means you are set Monday-Friday with a delicious breakfast that is rich in protein.
Another health bonus is that FAGE yogurt has no added sugar! Add in the pumpkin puree and cinnamon. Stir until well mixed. The yogurt will turn a light orange color. Chop up a pear, place along the edge of the bowl, and top with the granola.
Drizzle a tsp of honey over the top. Take the grapefruit, peel of the skin, and slice thinly. Sprinkle the pomegranate seeds in the bowl and add the grapefruit slices in. Drizzle with honey. In a small container, add a chopped apple, 1 tsp cinnamon, and 1 tsp of brown sugar.
Microwave for 2 minutes until soft. While microwaving, mix 2 tbsp powdered peanut butter with water to make a thin consistency.

Pour the apple mixture in the yogurt and spread the peanut butter in a swirl. Toss the almonds on top. Spread the chopped mango on the edge of the bowl. Next add the kiwi and then the pineapple. Toss the almonds on the fruit section of the bowl.

Add in a two-ingredient bagel made with FAGE into the bowl. Place the smoked salmon in a line from the bagel to the edge of the bowl. Toss in chopped onions and sprinkle with everything but the bagel mix. These bowls are great because the flavors are so delicious.
